What is your preferred method of transportation for trips over a couple of hours and why?
POV It gets me there when I want to get there and I can Stop or go on my own schedule.
How do you travel to and from work - personal vehicle, bus, subway/train, pedal power? What does it cost you per week in gas or fares?
Submitted by Jan.About $50.00 By POV. It takes about 2 hours by public transport and .5 hours by POV . I work 11-12 hours per day add 4 hours to that for commute and there is nothing left.
I am going to Eastern Oregon on Vacation, I will catch up on my return. thanks for your patience..

A U.S. Marine commanding officer who attended Oregon State
University and two fellow Marines were among more than 20 people killed in an Iraq suicide attack.
Lt. Col. Max A. Galeai, 42, the commanding officer of the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, died Thursday in the Anbar province of Iraq, about 30 miles west of Baghdad, according to the U.S. Marines.
It was a bad day for the Trucker from Texas and for the other folks involved.
I am glad that nobody died. I hope the reporter in this story learns the difference between a truck and a Pick up.
